Brave Writers

Melanie Neilson

Mel 1

Melanie is a native born Texan, but has lived most of her life in California. She is 51 years old, married with 6 children (that includes 2 daughter-in-laws), 3 grandchildren and a whole slew of children who call her Mom. Melanie’s heart of compassion beats for justice as she is passionate about being a voice for the voiceless. Her own journey of healing and freedom through God’s amazing love, fuels her desire to love others with the love of Christ.  Melanie serves as the Local & Global Impact Pastor for Cucamonga Christian Fellowship. As much as she loves serving the local community, her heart is for all nations. Being a Brave Writer, her hope is to authentically share her journey with others.

Lorretta Stembridge

Lorretta Stembridge is a lifelong artist, writer and photographer who loves to take the things or people others may overlook or cast aside and turn them into something beautiful. Some may call this folk art, she calls this redemption. She loves Jesus, Her husband & family, cats, and coffee–in that order. Lorretta plays well with others, doesn’t run with scissors and the only thing she loves more than cooking is eating! Lorretta writes at Dancing on the Dash

Angela Giles Klocke

My name is Angela Giles Klocke (Soft G, Long I = Giles / Clock + E = Klocke). I am a daughter of God, a mom of three, a wife to my best friend, a sister to many, a friend to many more, a mentor…a woman who has survived. I am a writer, photographer, speaker, and activist, and I love using my gifts to help others and to bring beauty into this world. It is my goal to live brave every single day. Stacey Lozano
Stacey Lozano
My name is Stacey Lozano and I am a seeker of God who gets to know Him better everyday, as He shows me who I am and who He is. I am married to an amazing Texas boy who stole my heart and the mother to some amazing children: one serving in the military, his adorable wife, and one still being homeschooled. Within my core is the desire to protect others, and not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as well. I know this is a process for all of us so I share what I am learning hoping that the information keeps being shared. I believe just getting the conversations started heads us in the right direction. My free time is filled with yarn and hooks, books, taekwondo, and writing. I also write at Stacey Daze { } and you can join me regularly on Facebook { }.
