The look on her face when she walked through the door, I knew it was for me. Her smile captured my heart and made my heart flutter. I wanted to stop and give her a hug, but I knew the tears would come and I couldn’t guarantee they would stop. I was afraid, they would see the state of my heart and not understand. She lifted the rose and held it toward me. My breath caught in my throat as I saw how perfect it was, how delicate it was, how beautiful it was. It was flawless. Taking a step forward, I let my eyes meet her eyes. Her smile said, “I know.” My smile said, “You do.” I gently took the rose and lifted it to my nose and breathed in the potent fragrance that opened my senses to the Father’s love. He heard me this morning.

She looked into my eyes with a knowingness and said, “PaPa said this one was for you today. He said it is specifically for you.”   He heard me this morning.

Each petal was perfect. The color was exquisite. The design was delicate. The structure was strong. The fragrance was powerful. The voice, was significant. The purpose was vital. The intention was exclusive. He heard me this morning.

There are times in this life where we wonder how we can go on. Does our life matter? There are times when we want to give up. Am I making a difference? There are times when we feel all alone. Can anyone relate to me? There are times when we are afraid to let anyone really know how we are doing. Will they reject me? There are times when we know that only the Father can help. Does He hear me?

He is faithful. II Thessalonians 3:3. The Lord is faithful, He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

He is loving. Jeremiah 31:3. I have loved you with an everlasting love.

He is ever present. Psalm 46:1. He is an ever present help in time of trouble.

He knows my name. Isaiah 43:2. I have called you by your name. You are mine.

He hears me. Psalm 116:1. He heard my voice and my prayers.

He hears me. Psalm 55:17. I pray and cry aloud, He hears me.

He hears me. Jeremiah 33:3. Call upon me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things.

He heard me.
