Flight [A Poem of Restoration]

Today’s post is written by our Brave Writer, Jazmyne Tamar.

I have been fulfilled and forgiven. My identity not in myself. Not in my life. Not in who I am and what I can do. Life True LIFE in who He is. What He gave. Whom He gave it for. & Why? Why? So that I may be in receipt of His life and presence, forever. So that I may suffer for less than eternity. He loves and He gives. He conquers and He restores. He gives and gives and gives. Freely and fully. Without judgment. Without comparison. Without end. He gives and He frees. He restores and He loves. He kisses and He hugs. And, oh! How He loves.

A newness of life in His life. A newness of birth in His birth. My purpose renewed in present mind. No doubt in present heart. I am His. I am, and always have been, His. He gives. His grace. His love. His life. His death. In everything. He gave. He gives. He existed for no other purpose but to give. An endless token of love. He is love. He is life. He is the gift of love and life. A mercy flooding endlessly. A river flooding endlessly. A life of love living fearlessly. Bravely He conquers. Bravely He exists. Bravely He is. He is. He is. No amount of forgetfulness on my part, discredits the Truth on His. He is consistency.

He is the Son. He is the marker. He is the pen. He is the story. He is the plot. He is life. He is breath. He gives air to the breathless. Life to the lifeless. He is the reason. He is the topper. He is the light. The Light in the darkness. He is the red in the white. The blood. The grace. The life. He is the reason. He is my reason. He gives the reason. I live. I breathe. I write. My life. He is my wings. He is my flight.

Jazmyne is zealous for seeing God’s love reflected in the lives of the broken-spirited and the oppressed. She aspires to use her writing as a means to communicate His love to the world. Her dream is to help raise a generation of Christ-like individuals who help to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth. You can read more of her work on her blog: http://writtenbyjazmynetamar.com.
