Introducing the Live Brave Writers

I am so excited to announce our new team of LIVE BRAVE writers.  I know that you will be blessed by their individual stories and insight into living brave.

I can not wait to see what God is going to do with Live Brave, Not Broken through the voices of these amazing women.

Karen Asbra

Karen Asbra

My name is Karen Asbra and I have been blessed to be married for almost 24 years to my husband Lance Asbra.  We have three amazing children, Ariel (22), David (19), and Caleb (almost 17). I am a writer, song writer, and worship leader and enjoy bringing people into the presence and intimacy of God.   I am honored to be a part of the Live Brave Not Broken writing team.   My husband and I have walked through various trials and hard times in our 24 years of marriage that have awarded us the opportunities to share, comfort, and encourage others.

Lindsay Munoz

My name is Lindsay Hope Munoz and I am 26 years young. I have been married to the love of my life for over 3 years (been together 7) and we have two amazing and beautiful kids. Adrian Cash is the funniest, most articulate and most active 2 year old I have ever known. Eliana Love joined our family 4 months ago and she is the sweetest little girl who absolutely ADORES her big brother. Some of my favorite things are color green, the beach, and I am a total book worm. I am also a baked goods junkie. I am a Jesus lover and I am passionate about helping other people understand just how deeply they are loved by the God who created the heavens and the earth. I have a heart for the broken and long for everyone to walk in freedom and their God given identities.

Laura Kramer

Laura Krämer is a beloved daughter of Mike Suchey, a wife and mommy of two boys. She chooses to be vulnerable with her soul journey with hope of others finding healing in God. You can visit her blog at

Jazmyne Tamar Johnson

My name is Jazmyne Tamar Johnson. I’m 21 and zealous for The Heart of God. I enjoy classic film and literature and have a sincere appreciation for galleries and museums. As a young, black woman I’ve struggled with my identity as it was challenged, opaque, and, eventually, defined by the expectations of this world. I believe that The Lord has desires to consume the hearts of His children with His love and promises, and I hope to be able to minister to others His heart for them that they may walk FEARLESSLY in their newfound identities.

And of course me.

But you already knew that.  😀
